These are pastels done under the watchful eye of Jane Lund.  Each one took a weekend.  They were done a year apart, the one on the right being the first one that I did.  They are approximately 26  X 26 done with Rembrandt pastels on Wallis Paper.

The group shows at Paragon have been wonderful events.  I am always looking forward to the next one.  The art is eclectic and the music is interesting and so enjoyable.Come to the Paragon Arts and Industry Building for a group show on April 14, 2012.  The Paragon shows are in conjunction with the Easthampton Art Walk on the second Saturday of each month.  The next show is on April 14, 2012.

Then, stay tuned!!!  I have more up and coming shows in the works for this spring.

At the March 10 show, we were treated with  very inventive piano compositions of Melissa St. Pierre.  You can see her instrument below as well as my choice of paintings to exhibit.

I introduced a line of notecards.  They are $4.00 sold individually or $15.00 for five.  Look for a complete posting in the near future.
The  set posted here is called the Islands Collection.  The original paintings are also available

The cards are printed on high quality paper by a local printer and measure 4.25in by 5.5 in.  They are blank cards and the color is true to the original paintings.  Other images are also available.

Individual cards are $4.00; a collection of five cards is $15.00.

Online purchases are coming soon.  For purchase at this time, contact barocas@comcast.net

March 10, 2012 Paragon Group Show

This was our first show at the Paragon Arts and Industry Building in Easthampton, MA.  It is always held on the same night at the Easthampton Art Walk.  At the February show, Shane Loiselle played his guitar continuously which created a lovely atmosphere.

Jack and Friends helped me to hang my work.  It was a very nice evening.
